Vodka Collins
Ingredients:
- 50 ml (pre-mixed) Top Shelf Vodka
- 25 ml fresh lemon juice
- 25 ml simple syrup
- Soda water
- Lemon wheel and cherry for garnish
- Ice
Instructions:
- Combine vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a shaker with ice.
- Shake until well chilled.
- Strain into a collins glass filled with fresh ice.
- Top with soda water, gently stir and garnish with a lemon wheel and cherry.
- Enjoy!
Margarita
Ingredients:
- 50 ml (pre-mixed) Top Shelf Tequila
- 20 ml fresh lime juice
- 20 ml triple sec*
- Salt for the rim, and lime wheel for garnish
- Ice
Instructions:
- Rim the edge of a glass with salt.
- Pour tequila, lime juice, and triple sec into a shaker with ice.
- Shake and strain into the glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a lime wheel.
- Enjoy!
*If this not available, a simple orange syrup will do. You can make this by combining equal measures of orange juice and sugar and heating until the sugar dissolves.
Old Fashioned
Ingredients:
- 50 ml (pre-mixed) Top Shelf Bourbon
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters*
- 1 sugar cube
- Orange twist for garnish
- Ice
Instructions:
- Muddle sugar cube and bitters in a glass.
- Add bourbon and drop in few ice cubes.
- Stir until chilled.
- Garnish with an orange twist.
- Enjoy!
*While Angostura is the popular choice, there are many other brands of bitters available that impart a similar flavour. If not available, a twist of lemon peel can add the required bitterness to balance the drink.
Pina Colada
Ingredients:
- 50 ml (pre-mixed) Top Shelf Jamaican Gold Rum
- 100 ml pineapple juice
- 50 ml coconut cream
- Pineapple wedge for garnish
- Ice
Instructions:
- Blend rum, pineapple juice, and coconut cream with a handful of ice until smooth.
- Pour into a glass.
- Garnish with a pineapple wedge.
- Enjoy!
Hurricane
Ingredients:
- 50 ml (pre-mixed) Top Shelf Jamaican Gold Rum
- 50 ml passionfruit juice*
- 20 ml lime juice
- Cherry and orange wheel for garnish
- Ice
Instructions:
- Pour rum, passion fruit juice, and lime juice into a shaker with ice.
- Shake until well mixed and chilled.
- Strain into a glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with cherry and an orange wheel.
- Enjoy!
*You can use any tropical fruit juice blend, or a mix of orange and pineapple juice as substitutes.
Remember, always use good quality ice, it makes a difference to the final drink.
